Title: Instant Messaging
Group: JUMP/various people from JE
Rating: PG
Notes: Love Rollercoaster is a single by RHCP. I also have AIM, Skype and Y!M. And GTalk. Bitch, don't judge. and meebo.

Keito Okamoto was on Skype before he grudingly transferred to Yahoo! Messenger for the sole reason of using its stealth setting feature. Skype is the shit, like totes. But it is certainly not fun when he goes online and finds drunken IMs of english gibberish care of Akanishi-sempai. Read: YO, SEXY POTATOES. He isn't safe even for the time difference, most certainly, what time difference?

Yabu Kota doesn't have any instant messenger. Until he hears about cyberse-- its practicalities.

Inoo Kei is a hub. He has AIM, Skype, MSN, Ovoo, Meebo, Gtalk, and what not. Name it, he has it. It's not like he's an extremely social person, it's just that he needs to compartmentalize his contacts. One for work, one for school, one for friends (OL, IRL), one for fandom, etc. Despite all these, Inoo's default status message is 'busy'.

The guys keep it simple for Takaki Yuuya; meaning, no fancy IM screen names. Takaki has a habit of forgetting who he's talking to. Sometimes he IMs the wrong person, sometimes Daiki sends him the chat history log to keep up. It's a lot of work.

Morimoto Ryuutaro doesn't really care for instant messaging. But he has one. One that he keeps on forgetting to log off while he goes play with his DS. One that Shintaro gets to change the status from a very intelligent Osamu Tezuka quote to 'SUCK MY DICK BITCHES -- AFK'. Ryuutaro only notices after an influx of IM responses of 'wtf Ryuu' from his jimusho friends. He gets a 'Hehe,' from Kamenashi-sempai
and 'OI MORIMOTO!' from Tackey-sempai. He confirms the identity of the culprit when Chinen replies with a 'LOL SHIN. Sup?'

When Yuuto Nakajima's status says 'Talking to the ladies' he is indeed talking to the ladies.

Yabu steers clear of IM conference invitations from Yuuto, mainly because of the NSFW thingamajigs. He also declines invites from Yamada, mainly because Yamada has bad eyesight. He really clicks on the wrong buttons.

There's this one time Takaki clicks on the IM screen name: loverollercoaster and sends a very, very, really, sexy photo of himself only to get a "Yuuya, this is Hikaru you moron."

Keito changes his IM screen name every three months. Just to be safe. From Ebikisu. And the horrors of English tutorials.

Ryuutaro gives up his online social life after finding his status changed to 'Listening to My Sharona, sickest beat y'all'. The last straw is when he goes to the jimusho the next day and receives a snicker from Tanaka-sempai. The Joker ruffles his hair and says, 'Nice jam kid,'

Yuuto figures he can give drums tutorials through Skype. Yamada thinks his former bff should get a hobby. A real one.

Ohno is also thankful for Yahoo Messenger's stealth setting. Chinen hates it so fucking much.

Inoo and Yabu gets flooded with 'ORLY's and 'YOU'RE AT IT AGAIN's whenever they both change their status at the same time. The status in question: 'Do not disturb'. No denials or confirmations are made by both parties.

When Takaki's internet connection failed him that one time, he finds Daiki sobbing to Hikaru saying 'Yuuya dumped me at Skype!' Takaki thinks he should stop using the dial-up modem.

Yabu knows that 7 (minus Ryuutaro, plus Takaki) is bonding over something when their status message is: 'HAHAHA LOLZ!!1!'. He doesn't even want to know.
