I've been posting a lot here about my music obsessions lately, but now I kind of want to babble about my other obsession: British comedy. Damn that country for making the best music AND making me laugh. If it wasn't for pesky inconveniences such as friends and family in Canada (and if the food in Britain wasn't so terrible) I'd be really tempted to

See: Black Books (most of which I used to have in a playlist on YouTube, but by the looks of things, it has all been yanked -- Bill Bailey! Dylan Moran! Who also does stand-up comedy, most memorably in his show "Monster" which also used to and might still be available on YouTube), League Of Gentlemen (which is funny at times and mostly intensively creepy)

For panel shows-- Mock the Week, and Have I Got News For You (current topics & politics)

Uhm, the Mock the Week episode with Brian Blessed (which IS available on YouTube) is one of the funniest things I have ever, ever seen. Ever. I rewatch it constantly.

Also, hey, Top Gear. Which is a car show. Sort of.

Yarr, I know both of those shows (as well as 8 out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie To You?) and though I don't watch them as obsessively as NMTB or QI, I will often spend hours watching them, especially if they have panelists I like.

I've heard of League of Gentlemen but haven't seen it yet. Will def. have to look up Black Books though because I <3 me some Bill Bailey!

I watched a couple of episodes of Top Gear when it featured guests I like, but Jeremy Clarkson annoys me. >.>
