So it occurred to me that I haven't updated this thing in ages. The past few weeks have been spent frantically looking for work, which is a very strange, exhausting business. No interviews come for weeks on end, then they all come at once. Last week I had three in one day, and they can be distressing affairs, the group interviews are the worst, I ( Read more... )

Awesome- If I ever need to assemble a team to steal diamonds in Prague, I'll know who to call.

If one were to posses an army of hot people in catsuits, they would truly be an unstoppable force of evil.

Thank you, I'm quite proud of the whole industrial look on that one. Are you back from Sorrento yet?

If by Sorrento, you mean Gippsland? :D I just got back yesterday.

Queenscliff is lovely lovely lovely, I would live there if it wasn't so isolated (that maight sound odd coming from my current situation...) Did you find your Lovecraft book in the bookshop in the old church? That's a great place.

Looking for work is shite. Lucky for me I find little I can actually apply for, so I rarely need to deal with the interview process.

The girls need kitty ears.

Yep, the one in the old church, best bookshop that side of Geelong... Maybe we should all move to Queenscliff, best fish & chips, damn good bookshop, old houses, water and ferry to Sorrento.
I've got a job or two now so I don't have to do it any more.
As for the girls, this shoot was heading more along cyberish lines (a photographer recently told Aris she looks like Molly from Neauromancer) but our friend Kim's doing shoots with us being cats. See here.

So you're allowed to turn them down, are you? I was under the impression that I signed something to the effect of "I will accept any job". Which is not very convenient as I go to uni six hours a week, am required to study a further twelve hours a week, and work twelve hours a week. And I live an hour's travel away from my workplace. And I'm directing a play this semester which now takes up any remaining time. But if I'm on the dole, I HAVE to accept work, oh yes...
Mmm. Anyway. Sympathies for the forced pointless job interviews.

Thanks for your sympathies, I think it's something to do with only being able to accept one job, and being able to decline jobs because I've got something else in line. My sympathies to you as well.
