if you'd like to help moderate femslash_today by joining the archivist team for a month, this is the place to sign up.
what the job entails
you'll pick a day of the week, and it will be your job to list all femslash related material that appears on the girlwatch watch list for that day throughout the month you are signed up for.
this is a pretty serious job, as it's the most visible part of f_t. you'll be making a 20-40 minute commitment for each week of the month you volunteer for.
to be qualified to be an archivist you need to be familiar with all parts of posting to livejournal, including basic html and livejournal specific markup tags. you'll also need a passing familiarity (knowledge of the main female characters' names and of the main pairings) with a wide range of fandoms.
if you're not at least slightly familiar with five (5) or more fandoms (or fandom groups) from this list then you should not volunteer for this position.

(there's always a need for tag moderators, which is a position that does not require extensive knowledge of femslash fandom.)

wait. it'll be a first volunteered, first used system, so it might be a few months before we contact you.
when your turn does come, we'll reply to your comment about a week or so before the first of the month to make sure that you're still interested and to narrow down what day you'll be in charge of. once you're signed up, you'll be granted posting access to the community and all important directions/information will be emailed to you.
