Will calls and Sydney comes. Well, it's her room too, so it's not like she wouldn't have come back eventually, but this time she's making her way there purposefully, and a little bit confused too.

She nudges open the door and walks over to sit on the bed, looking expectantly at Will as she does. "What's up?"

Will looks up from the little box in his hands, then stands up with a lop-sided grin. "Um. So, I guess Santa came or something. One of the kids said she saw him, so it's on the money." By 'one of the kids' he means 'one of the dead kids', but Syd should be used to that by now.

Sydney grins a little. There's something about Will and the ghosts that's a little cute. Also kind of creepy, but she'll go with cute. "Are you sure 'Santa' wasn't just some guy dressed in red and white?"

"She said she saw him get that big tree in the lobby out of his bag," he says pointedly. "I think it was probably the man himself."

Then he hesitates, because now comes the part he's not sure about. "Um... anyway, he left me a present that's sort of for you, too. If you want it."

"Okay, so let's go with Santa," she says, because if said ghosts are trustworthy... Santa's pretty much the only explanation that makes sense.

She tilts her head to one side, eying him speculatively. "Okay? You want to tell me what it is?"
