There was quite a snow storm last night, so when I took Bertie out this morning, we both got to flounder through a ton of snow.

My family used to have a Shih Tzu that would fling herself through the snow. Problem was she was so small that her front paws would sink in and she'd get stuck, face sinking in the snow with her butt and tail up in the air. Then we'd have to go rescue her.
Bertie looks like he's having a grand ole time!

Dogs are so cute in the snow. Mine would always end up with a clump of snow on her nose, and when the snow was deep, Mom would always say that the tail (which was sort of off-white at the tip--she was a mixed beagle) was the only way you could find her in the yard. But lordy, how she loved it. She was like a little kid in the snow, which I think made it even more fun for the rest of us.
