Well I don't blame you, there were so many strong entries and my shortlist was massive! It was hard doing a top 10 fic list, but I used finch's list to help me out, so take a look at that too (if you haven't already done so!)

I'd missed quite a few - and there I'd thought I'd done so well keeping up with posting! That Scenes from a Highway made me weep.

That's one where the style feels familiar and I should know who it is, but I can't quite think... I'm really looking forward to reveals!

My short list was massive this year, and there's been a great mixture too; humerous, tear-jerkers, dramas, case fics, future fics, etc! And some beautiful art fills too (although maybe not as many this year?) I can't wait for reveals either!!! Bring it on!!!

I'm very behind on Summergen, so I haven't done any rec lists in a while. There's a bunch of fics on your list that I haven't had the pleasure of reading yet--been too busy trying to write for the bazillion challenges I signed up for, LOL. I'll be sure to check your recs first once I have time to read again. <3

A very good list! I think it must have been really hard to narrow the field to ten--this was an exceptionally good year for Summergen. Thanks for these recs!

It really was a challenge! Which is why finch's rec list came in handy as I used that to help narrow it down. But yes, so many strong entries this year.

Thank you for this list! I’ve read a few of them, but not all, so I look forward to some good reading. Between this list and the ones offered by marciaelena and finchandsparrow I’ve managed to cover a lot of wonderful territory and made some fabulous discoveries!
