This was the coda we all needed, and Dean needed! Ever since the ep I've been worrying about that room and whether they'd get a replacement telly :D

Have to say, when I first heard they were doing this ep, I had my doubts, but they NAILED IT! \o/

Oh yes, me too! Although, I don't really know why they needed to smash the TV; surely a screwdriver would have done the trick and Dean's a handy guy, he could have put it back together again. But anyway, I wanted to restore Dean's fortress/cave, and a Scooby-Doo episode seemed fitting ;)

I love it too! I felt like we needed a more lighthearted affair and it was a feel good episode. Thanks for stopping by :)

This is perfect and so lovely! I really hope this happens on the show or that we at least get to see them in the Dean Cave/Fortress of Deanitude - Dean and Sam vs Cas and Jack at tabletop football would be such fun! I love this line...

"Sam sits on one of the recliners, and hands Dean the remote and a beer; it's like heaven on earth."

I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! I liked the idea of the 'man cave' and Dean's enthusiasm for it, so I really wanted to see Sam replace the TV and for the boys to sit back and enjoy it, and of course watch Scooby-Doo! Thanks for stopping by :)

Yes!! We need to see them enjoying it!! Especially when Dean put SO much into it!! And reading through the other comments here, oh my god I totally thought the screwdriver thing too, lol like "wait what? sledge hammer...let's not be hasty here." lol But I guess time was of the essence? lol and well more dramatic lol

But Sammy buying him a replacement is THE VERY BESTEST THING!! That was one of my first thoughts after the episode, "It'd be so sweet if Sam replaced it for him" Hee!! Perfect coda to a perfect episode!! *nods*

I know, right?! He must have been collecting things for a while and somehow keeping it from Sam. And yes, that poor TV, needlessly smashed for dramatic purposes (I mean Dean could have taken it all apart and put it all back together - we know he has the skills for that!)
