This is wonderful! I love the “if walls could talk” motif and the final POV! So crack and yet also weirdly fitting, since the Winchesters’ world is so full of weird.

Your original characters are awesome. I especially liked little Josh, who figures out that in this particular instance his mother’s “don’t talk to strangers” warning doesn’t apply. And the mother in the laudromat with Sam, witnessing that moment with over-protective big-brother Dean.

I love outsider POV because it lets us love the Winchesters in secret (the original characters don’t know they’re heroes, but WE do!) Your story is just perfect :)

Thank you so very much!!! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the prompt premise, and while Wally's POV was a little experimental, it seemed to fit with the fic as well as some of my giftees likes, so I'm thrilled to hear that it worked for you - it sure is a little cracky!!!

My beta felt a few different povs from OCs could work in sort of jigsaw puzzle way with each of them giving a small hint about what happened, and then when read all together they should give the reader an idea of what happened with the hunt. OCs are always tricky, so I'm happy they worked for you (and that Josh and Maria stood out!)

Outsider pov gives us a chance to tap into a moment we wouldn't usually get to witness. We can legit create a moment that seems intimate even if it's silly or cracky or just plain heartbreaking. You always manage to pull me along and leave me happy at the end and having to figure out how i got from A to B. Skill lovey, skill xx

Sentient wall! A great unexpected surprise that caps off an already awesome story, I love the glimpses into the lives of the people in and around the motel, each one a small story unto itself. I especially liked feisty Gertie and Josh. Well done!
