I'd forgotten we talked about this - how awesome would it be if the show gave us something - gave SAM something like this? It would be like a shot of hope in his veins.

Alas, Jess is deep in space on the USS Orville these days... LOL! But yes, it would be lovely to have so many dearly departed female characters back in the Alternate Universe SPN. Jess would be so poignant!

(And Charlie. And Eileen Leahy. Ellen and Jo... the list goes on.)

Hehe, but a girl can dream, can't she ;) I mean I guess it's the same with JDM, the scheduling just rules it out. But the idea alone is just wonderful for me as a Sam/Jess lover! I loved writing Jess so badass, and because of the other roles AP has played, I think it's believable and I could picture it too while writing.

Whether something could ever happen with this Jess and Sam I'm not sure, but I just like all the possibilities it brings; the idea of Sam knowing there's a Jess alive out there, one who he doesn't have to lie to, oone who he can fight with and share the hunters life with like he said he wanted. I just love it.

And yes, the character list is endless and there's so many faces I'd love to see again (and you've named most of them!)

maybe it'll be good to just know that there's another Jess out there who he didn't fail.

I love this! Love the whole idea of Sam getting a second chance with Jess, but more than that, for Sam to meet people whose deaths he feels responsible for, just to ease that burden of guilt a little.

What a wonderful idea! Great story!

I'm a huge Sam/Jess fan, and for me the idea that we could feasibility meet her in this new world, and how different she would be just fascinated me. But yes, the idea of Sam getting some peace from this meeting, some closure of a wound that won't heal is just perfect! Sam deserves to ease that burden on his shoulders.

Wow - thank you!!!! I must admit as a Sam/Jess lover, I use any excuse to bring her back, but this time it really is a possibility and I adored imagining what a alternative reality Jess would be like; I wanted her to be kickass and a bit hardened and battle scarred, much like our boys. I mean Sam did day he could maybe imagine himself with someone 'in the life' - it's kinda perfect, right?!
