I don't mind the idea of a human threat, I'm just struggling with it's credibility at the moment. Lovely drabble!

Yes, it does seem confusing. I guess it's only episode 2, so they're going to have to stretch it out over a lot of episodes before we know more. But still, I think they at least could have given us a bit of consistency (Do they want the Winchesters dead or alive? Do they want to work with them or not? Maybe they have a completely different end game? Are they actually BMoL - or rouge agents?)

Thank you! I needed that hug, and it seemed fitting coming from Mary after her 'mom stuff' speech (and yes, it would seem that I now can't shake off writing her POV!!!) I really am enjoying how Show is portraying Mary, it's what I wanted plus so much more.

Love your little vignette on Sam and Dean's relationship from Mary's pov. But I've also been wondering how Mary's presence is going to impact on that relationship . . .

It's intriguing isn't it? Toni seemed very determined to get rid of them, and it does make you wonder why she wants it so bad? It certainly feels like it could be personal.

I'm really enjoying Mary so far, and I couldn't resist writing more of her POV and I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Yes, it'll be interesting to see how her presence affects the boys and their dynamic; will she always hunt with them? Or will she sometimes just not be there? In which case do we get one of the odd little conversations the boys have to explain away a characters absence? I'm excited to find out.

Recalling that Winchester collage she had all over her wall last season, with their detailed history: that looked pretty personal - and rather hunterish.

Yes, I'm enjoying Mary so far, too. Samantha Smith's doing great work and J2 seem to have renewed excitement and energy in their roles, too. I'm looking forward to seeing how the dynamics develop. And you're probably right in anticipating odd little exposition scenes. Well, they've set up one for next week already, haven't they? "Mom not coming with us?" "No, she's really getting stuck into Dad's journal. I think she needs time to, you know, absorb it all." :P

Yes, that wall was very personal and it was in her own house right?!!! Also we know she has a kid, but I don't think we know anything about the father? Is there a connection there I wonder; is he dead because of something the Winchesters did? There's a lot of possibilities I guess.

Haha yes; Mary's reading the journal, or she's not feeling too well, or she's on a day trip with Cas, or she's taking a cooking class. It's gonna happen, and when it does I'll think of our conversation ;)
