Why has it split fandom? I agree it had faults but it really was time to see what was up with Amara and to get things moving toward the finale (whatever that may entail, completely unspoiled here)

I think you've hit Amara's nail right on the head. She thinks God should be there to deal with her, talk to her, try to protect his creations. I see her point perfectly. If he's not, why shouldn't she move on with her own plans? Very nice?

I think that after the high of 11.17, a lot of people were either extremely disappointed with the episode, or were happy to see some myth arc - it seems to have divided fandom opinion. I personally enjoyed it; it moved fast, it addressed a lot of queries, gave us some Amara, and twisted and complicated the myth arc with Lucifer being unable to kill Amara. Like you said it sure had its faults, and after last week I wanted more Sam and Dean, but it held my attention and I was left craving more.

I'm so happy you enjoyed this drabble. This episode really clarified Amara's position for me, and I feel like I understand her and her motivations a little more, so I thought I would explore that a little here.

Thank you so much for stopping by :)

This! I think (and hope!) that is this what's coming.

I hope that one episode, suddenly, everything is all 'in Goddess we trust' and so on, like the Titanic episode? The New Reality where the Goddess Amara reigns supreme. And only Sam remembers how it used to be! :D

It sure feels like this could be where we're heading with Amara, but I guess it'll all depend on if SPN!God shows up or not.

Man, you're just firing out all these wonderful fic ideas!!! I'd adore it they did that, especially if he entered season 12 that way, with everybody under her spell and Sam being the only one who's all 'er, what happened?' Love it!

Thank you so much for stopping by, it's always a joy to hear from you. :)

This is wonderful, you definitely caught her anger and the threat of destruction to come. I'm interested in where show goes with her as well, she feels like a big threat, I hope they build on that even more. Already poor Dean seems pretty powerless against her, which is really interesting.

I liked the episode as well, a few frustrating moments, but some interesting scenes as well! Can't wait for the next ep!

I'm so happy that you liked it! This episode gave us quite a lot of Amara, which I loved, I feel like I understand her motivations and plans a bit more. I hope we see Amara into season 12, it sure feels that we might because there's a lot happening for it all to resolved in the few episodes that are left. And yes, Dean!!!

A few mistakes, but overall I enjoyed the episode, it covered a lot of ground and quickly. Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by *hugs*

Very interesting fic to complete this episode - I like Amara's voice, it fits well with how I understood her in the show.

I'm a little on the fence on this one, 11.18. I liked how it gave us more explanations about the God/Lucifer/Amara situation. I think it's less about liking or enjoying it for me, but about the memorability of it...

Thanks for sharing!

Hey there, it's lovely to see you again! Thank you for stopping by and commenting about Amara's voice, it's always scary writing for new characters, and I'm happy that you liked it.

Yes, I understand completely. It wasn't a particularity memorable episode, but I guess it took us from point A to point B, which was necessary to move us forward in the myth arc, but yeah, maybe not hugely exciting.

It's lovely to hear from you. Take care :)
