So I have touzoku_kakumei now! And she's the best thing ever and I love her AU and her attitude and especially her Diabound who sometimes takes on the guise of an AU she-Ryou. I don't know how much headway I'll make on any of my challenges anymore in part because of RL being a pain and in part because I love these girls so much I just want to write their lives

I sit down and I swear to God my exact thought process was "execution gone wrong, that's a good idea --- IS THERE A MONKEY OH GOD THERE HAS TO BE A MONKEY".

No worries, I have no intention of dropping any of those challenges; Ryou and Malik interacting are far too amusing (and modern-day bunnies may be more insistent once I'm no longer immersed in AE research, who knows). Plus I have some fics written by hand that I never typed up or posted. So I'm sure more of Malik will be popping up sooner or later. <3

This Bakura and her Diabound aren't shippy, per se, but I've enjoyed fleshing out the nonetheless close relationship they have - Diabound here is a real piece of work, especially once she starts doing her own narration. So uh. Time and inspiration willing, you'll see more of these guys too.
