You write and I feel like I'm there.

That's seriously one of the best compliments on my writing I've ever gotten. Thank you. I got a little misty.

You made the tears run down my face so it was hard to read. Really beautifully done. But please, bring him back soon.

*wipes tears* Oh, this is so sad! DG is such a strong character for dealing with this loss and being able to do her duties.

*sniffs & sits straight up* Wait...Ahamo's missing?! In fact, he's been missing since DG dealt wth the newspaper incident with her and Cain's picture. He knew that she was upset about it, also knew that they were in love with each other, and it was possible that Cain could be killed because of the article. Plus! Ahamo knows the inner workings of The Order. Hmmm...That gives me an idea, but I'm not gonna say it. Not yet anyway.

The vigil for Cain kinda reminds me of the one for Princess Diana, except much more positive towards the Royal House.

I LOVE that artist and her portrait! Her instincts about DG and Cain were spot on!

Can't wait for the next bit!

Aha.
Ahamo being missing wasn't all in my head.
And you reminded me about the Order.

The key bit isn't that Ahamo's missing (because he clearly is) but that nobody seems to be noticing, and whenever someone remembers and mentions it, they somehow...get distracted and lose their train of thought.

The grief-shrine that springs up around the Spire is, of course, reminiscent of the Diana vigils outside Buckingham, although similar spontaneous shrines have been seen for many other famous people who die.

BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT CHAPTER!!!!!

You know how I 'recognized' the scene? Helen Mirrin in "The Queen", viewing the impromptu shrine outside Buckingham Palace for Princess Diana. But you still managed to make it DG and Ozian and poignantly wonderful. Yes, I cried. Shame on you: the first fanfic author in this fandom to do it. ;p

Cheers,
Chibi-Kaz
