Today's good thing/today's bad thing

Today's good thing: first, I had a short day at work, and had Levi to help me. Then we went for J's appointment with the sleep apnea doctor. They were very nice, and much more punctual than his heart doctor. They're going to schedule a sleep study for J, but warned us it would take a while, as they have to fight with our insurance company first

it's not silly I understand I've been a fan of his for years as well. When I woke to the news I was heartbroken. He was such an amazing actor and he will be missed.

He will definitely be missed. As much as it hurts, it's nice to see such an outpouring of love, from fans and actors as well, here and on Facebook.

Believe me or not, I was at the doctor's office when I heard two nurses talking "...lan...ickman... wasn't that old, wasn't he?" I did not understand it at first, but I knew something bad happened. When the appointment finished, I found them and asked them about it.

And that's how I learnt about Alan's death :(
