Catching up

Dr London's office called yesterday(I think?) to tell me the cancer was metasticized, from my uterine cancer, and that it was NOT in my lymph nodes. I also got a call from Dr Patrick's Byrne's office, in Vidalia, about folow-up treatment. I had my appointment with him at 2 today, and it was nearly 5 when we left. Oh, I hope it is the right type to be over with the surgery. I was so scared at the start of your post, but to hear the doc thinks they may have got it all, I pray this is true. ::hugs::

Hooray for not being in the lymph nodes! It sounds like you have pretty good doctors who are on top of your treatment options. Best wishes for a fast recovery, babe!

I know! I was really worried about that. I really like my oncologist, and everyone keep saying good things about my surgeon as well.

Blessings to you. And you are in my prayers.
I am on a cancer watch, getting blood work and ultrasounds every 6 months. On my one remaining ovary, which if it has to be removed will be abdominal surgery so they can take it out whole. Also have my thyroid checked and some day will need to have that removed. I have had a large pre-cancerous polyp removed from my colon and then hemmoraged which was not nice. And I get my liver checked. As well as mammograms once a year. So far so good. I get to see very nice doctors and have mostly non-invasive tests.
