I am so sorry. She was beautiful and she was much loved, that is clear.

Thank you. I feel like she had a pretty good life, but with cats you expect more, especially since she'd been my healthiest cat so far.

Thank you. Of course it's something you eventually have to go through when you keep pets, this was just really really unexpected and sudden.

I think everybody who's read your posts about her over the years could tell that, I really do.

I'm so sorry. I almost feel like I knew her and I know the sadness I'm feeling isn't even a drop in the bucket compared to what you're going through.

Gah, those pictures of her are so gorgeous. Damn mortality.

Thank you. Minor having mattered to people who never met her does mean a lot to me.

I kind of recognize ways in which it could be worse - I don't have to second guess myself about whether I could have done more/caught it earlier/tried more treatments/whatever, so it's mostly just... sadness.
