I've pulled back from the Web in general a bit; got a little too preoccupied with it for a while! Had to stop feeling like I needed to check Facebook every five minutes for my life to be complete....

Michael's had the most versatile facial hair through the ages of anybody I've ever known, and has had great fun with it. I should do a photographic retrospective of just that sometime! Those of us who take three months for anybody to even notice that we're growing a beard can only imagine what it would be like to be able to sculpt a beautiful new stache in three days instead!

McDiarmid -- Scottish! Well, I guess that should have been as plain as the nose on my face. I'm quite thoroughly Scottish, and "Scottish broom" sounds like a good description of what I've got as well. Not exactly the thigh tickler that Michael used to sport. Okay for light thigh dusting, perhaps......

Nice pictures. I agree thet the dark moustache is keen. I am in the market for a great-grasndchild next April. My daughter's stepdaughter is going to be the presenter, but the baby will arrive in Okinawa, a far piece down the road.

Okinawa? Makes me feel like the eight-hour drive to northern Michigan is just a hop, skip and a jump by comparison.

Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while...just catching up a bit.

Congratulations to the proud grand-dads !! Nifty photos too ...nothing like a loving bear to tend to baby ...Michael was quite a looker bakc then - still is.

Hope you're over your cold. I'd stop by on Friday for happy hour, but, but I'll be stuck in a theatre babysitting one of my students' shows.
