Although I'm not too familiar with the play, it sounds absolutely fantastic. Your detailed review is just fantastic! It sounds like he's really doing well in the production.

Your backstage photos are terrific and HEY - you met up with Katie - yay!!!

Glad you had a great time!!

I did! We had a great time! We ended up going out to dinner together both Tuesday and Wednesday night. And, you know, she got to hang out with the Phantom at the stage door. :)

He is doing really well. I would be astonished if they didn't ask him to come back full time when Howard McGillin finally leaves the show. And I'll tell you why this isn't just personal preference here. I saw Howard (the actor Gary's filling in for) about a month ago and during intermission and after the show, I didn't hear people raving about his voice the way the way were going on about Gary's. I swear, every single time I saw the show, everyone around me was just blown away (as well they should have been) and Howard's voice just doesn't pack that punch, nor, frankly, does his acting.

At any rate, e-mail me know if you want to be a little more well acquainted with the show. I've got some contraband you might be interested in. ;)

God, it was lovely. I didn't want to leave, if I'd had the money, I'd have gone to every performance between Tuesday and Saturday (that's his last day).
