So I'm back from a really ridiculously long hiatus. I'm way too lazy to go into a long explanation of what I've been doing so here's the short and dirty version of it

Haha. I think I actually ended up writing A LOT since you last left and I anticipate writing even more. From almost ending my writing career altogether, I'm contemplating making a firmer commitment to it. Who knows what lies ahead!

I'm so excited and jealous that you are going to Japan.!I have had friends study / teach / visit and it sounds like such an interesting cultural experience as a foreigner. Given their interesting perspective about uh, blood lines, I would not want to be of mixed Japanese/other ancestry there but then people have such different experiences...

Can't wait to hear about it all. Have you been abroad much?

Not really, or at least not that much compared to other people. I've been back to Haiti with my family a couple of times, and the summer before my senior year of high school I did this three week program that took us to france and germany, but that's about it. This is my first real experience living outside the country for more than a month. It should be interesting.
