Do you suppose the dressform is crooked or did the original owner have some scholiosis like Asymetry? Certainly is beautiful!

Heh, considering my own dress form is crooked, I'd say they have a Twin Fit mannequin! Ha ha!

Highly possible, but the one thing I love about clothing from an era where they actually fitted things is you can really extrapolate a lot out about the original owner in terms of body type and sometimes even diseases. The anthropologist in me finds it fascinating. There's one 18th century gown in PoF we were putting together a mock up from in college and discovered the original owner had the world's teeeniest arms.
