Ack, I knew I was forgetting something! Must buy pumpkins and rip their guts out. :)
If you'd like to shop vicariously through me, I need to get a semi high necked Victorian blouse to complete my 1890's outfit, any tips on where to look for one that won't break the bank? I swear I saw one when I was shopping a few months ago, but I hit so many shops I can't remember where it was. You can also share in my relief in my sewing machine quieting down with some oil rather than a full service trip being required! :) It was knocking *loudly* two nights ago and was purring along smoothly last night. :)
Best of luck on the exams!

Your best bet is to hit the thrift stores for some lonely, neglected, Victorian-esque late 70's early 80's blouse. They are plentiful but I find they tend to run a little baggy in size since they were only styled after Victorian fashions but made for the modern working woman. Couldn't be difficult to take in I'm sure.

Sweetie, I'm sorry I failed in answering you! Luckily, a lovely lady from my FL took care of you. That is actually where I got my two "Victorian" blouses, too, so you are in good company!

Good luck!

This is my first Halloween in a house too (excepting childhood), and I'm so psyched about it too!!

I wish you luck on your exams, I know just how you feel. It can be a very restrictive feeling having other obligations that prevent one from keeping active in the pleasurable experience of personal hobbying. My house is full of started projects that have been left to collect dust! It's either work hard now and have no life or play now and have no money for a life later when I've flunked out of school and been forced to sit on the AC boardwalk with a bucket and cazoo. lol. How's the house coming along? We are not doing Halloween this year, the house is too messy plus kids always assume decorations mean they can beat your door down all night for candy. Oh well, the haunted house will return some day.
