With a variety of events coming up from the Steampunk picnic later this month to Costume Con, here is a list of places to find the finishing touches for your Victorian outfit. Thank you! I realized I already had River Junction bookmarked, but I hadn't looked at them in ages. Their gloves are excellent & just what I need to polish up some of my CC27 outfits. Hope they arrive in time :-)

Thank you for the shoe resource! I've been looking for something simple to start my short boot collection with, as the TUK "victorian" boots didn't fit the way I envisioned.

Wish I could attend the meetup next weekend. Driving school ftl.

I'm going to have to save a link to this entire post. The gloves one is perfect because just last night a friend and I were talking about long black lacey gloves. And those shawls and reticules are beautiful.

How would you rate the quality of the boots? I have been thinking about buying them for a while now but afraid they are junk.

They aren't going to take a beating like a pair of leather boots, but for $40.00, they are great. I've been wearing mine to costume events for 3 years or so.
