Stuck on 76

So there's this major highway that runs from Philadelphia to Valley Forge called I-76. I hate this road. It's only two lanes and really needs to be 3. Always, always backed up. So they decided it would be a good idea NOT to salt this major roadway last night, or any of the major roadways, despite freezing rain on top of already frozen roads

Oye, thank god you guys didn't go! It was dead anyway, so you didn't miss anything. I was hoping that because it was a holiday, maybe people who took the week off that normally can't come out would be there. Nope!

The four hour wait on 76 might have been tolerable if J had been with me, but he had to work this morning and didn't go. I was in the car by myself. I texted him at 2:45am, but he woke up around 6:15am and called me in a panic. Poor guy!

Yeah, it was total torture! The worst part was not knowing what was going on. It was hours before KYW was reporting on the reason we were all sitting there. I mean, I knew there was an accident, but I didn't understand why it was taking hours to clear.
