I'm so sorry for your loss. That's never an easy decision to make, but I also think you made the best call for him in that situation. Poor kitty. He looks like he was a sweet little guy (but aren't they all...). Rest in peace, Cecil.

And don't worry. I wouldn't inflict that rainbow bridge poem on you. That thing drives me up the wall, too.

Actually, he was a tempermental beast. I knew something was REALLY wrong with him when (on Thursday) the vet examined him without any blood loss (on the vet's part).

Despite that, he was one of the most interesting and fun cats I've ever had the honor to know. (and I think we're going to put his ashes into and Iron City bottle before burying him--he did like his beer).

Aww I'm sorry to hear about that. My parents just had a very similar situation with one of their cats and made the same choice. It's the right thing to do even though it's difficult. RIP little Cecil. <3

I'm sorry for your loss. But you made the right decision, a good one we humans don't have for ourselfs, sadly.

I'm sorry. :( Losing a cat sucks. But yeah, at least he didn't have to suffer through a bunch of stuff he wouldn't understand for little to no profit. May he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry! We lost a kitten unexpectedly last fall between Halloween and Thanksgiving and I still miss her running around the house.

You made the right choice to end his suffering.

*goes off to squeeze her remaining kitties*
