FINALLY! Apartment Life (and M&G) here I come.

YES!

I finally found M&G for less than $20 (yeah, only $5 less but it's the principle of the thing) so, Weezie, I'm movin' on up.

AL and M&G have been ordered.  The Ikea sp (only one I don't have) was still too rich for my cheap blood (yes, yes, roll your eyes all you want but I REFUSE to spend $20 on and sp.  REFUSE!) but the others were right in my ( Read more... )

That's great :).

I also got my crack from GCW and so far, it's good.
What I love the most about AL and MG is that they include ceilings and more options to decorate the lot (shifting paintings, the quarter tile placement cheat) and those make posing much more easier.

*snerk* I forgot about the ceiling thing. I was really spurred by the toddler hugging animation (and pet bed sleeping) and the other cute animations. The wall placement thing, too. That will make runing a business so much better (I hate that you can only hang ONE potholder per wall section).

Quarter tile placement? Is that like the 45 degree angle cheat (I just recently started using that one)?

OOOH, and I'll be able to grab the super cute baby stuff they had at the sim store (from MATY, of course). I REALLY wanted that before. Sweet.

The quartertile placement is similar to the "snapobjectstogrid" cheat. For example, when you try to place a two-tile sofa in front of a three tile window, it's impossible to center it because of the grid limitations.

The quartertile fixes that and lets you place objects (and sims) closer to each other. You'll see what I mean when you get M&G :).

Ooh, centered tvs on three smaller sofas. Nice.

That new setting/cheat combined with the time freeze clock may make me ENJOY posing pics (right now it's more a necessary evil for me).

I always get the NO-CD stuff from GCW and it's always running properly.

Thanks.

And I love nocd cracks. Even if the game didn't have secuRom, I'd probably still use a crack.

AL (and all the EPs) have been $19.95 on amazon for the longest time (I assume that's pretty much the regular price now). I like using amazon so I can exploit the free shipping option.
