Ohhh oh oh ohhhh.... ::eyes water:: You make me so happy with this.
I laughed so freaking hard at "Merlin, you’re like a brother to me, so understand that I mean it with all the love in the world when I say attempting to explain it to you would not be worth the effort required to move my mouth that much." And Merlin and Arthur in their formal clothes, drinking the sight of each other in, took my breath away.
I just read... well. Every single fic in this series in one go. And my god, it made me laugh, and smile, and laugh some more. You're a very talented writer -- not that you need some random telling you that, but there y'go.
...The bit about Wales and the Welsh cracked me up, more than it rightly should have. Probably because I am Welsh. But that's neither here-nor-there really. I just find good humored lol-ing at the Welsh hilarious.
Aww, thank you! Hey, such comments are always appreciated. ;) And yay, I'm so glad to hear the bit about the Welsh came off good humoured, because that's exactly as it was intended. Glad you enjoyed all of it!
I'm glad that you think so :) And ahaha. Yeah, totally good humoured. Having lived in Swansea all my life, I can imagine that Uther's plans didn't go so well.
I fucking love this 'verse to a truly silly degree, and every single addition just makes it even better. I adore your Arthur, you write him beautifully as both the man he was an angsty teenager, without making him stop being one or the other, it molds wonderfully in who he is now. Not to mention rugby player Arthur is hot beyond all reasonable measure.
And hahahahah I'm not the only one making fun of the Welsh!
Aaaah, thank you! That's so wonderful to hear, especially about Arthur's character.
Ahahaha, yeah, I figure if Uther's not teaching Arthur an irrational distrust of magic users, he must be imparting an irrational distrust of someone, and he is English after all ... I love the Welsh, personally, but it seemed like such an Arthur reaction. :D
HAHAHAHAH. I love the Welsh too, but it doesn't stop me from taking the mickey, though nowhere near the way I do from the English LOL But yeah I can't picture Arthur saying that
