You would be happier if you stopped trying to make sense of this show. I realized this early in the season. The less sense it makes, the better the ratings get and the more people gush over how great it is. This Arthur is STILL an idiot, and at best, nothing more than Merlin's puppet. There is no realistic way that Arthur can forgive Merlin for allll the lies he's told over the years, therefore I have stopped wanting to see the big reveal as it could only be either extremely sad or utterly ridiculous.
Still, the show is prettier than in past years, so I guess it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not. I've just been watching to be amused at this point because all reality or consistency has left the building... Really, it's kind of relaxing now to finally be able to watch an episode and just sigh and say 'whatever'....
I really am mainly watching for Bradley's face and the rest of the pretty at this point, but I still can't help having ~feelings~ about all of it. It's just frustrating because it could be so much better if only they'd take ten minutes to actually think about what they're putting on screen. Sigh.
