It was sooo exciting that both my husband and I fell asleep on parts of it. So, what was with the Morgan? Someone please explain to me what happened there (I'm sure my falling asleep didn't help my comprehension!). And yeah, the Merlin thing - his actions were completely unwarranted. Whatever. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching it, just means I won't be falling in love with it. I like the knights, though. Seems like Gawaine's cool no matter how you spell his name.
I'm looking forward to "Game Of Thrones" tomorrow. More swords...
Nah, being awake through the Morgan thing didn't really make it make any more sense. I think it was supposed to be something to do with there being a ~price~ for magic that Morgan wasn't up to handling, maybe? Though why changing into her younger self in front of Merlin last week triggered that when she didn't have any issues doing it in the premier, I have no idea. The nun lady said something about performing a summoning, so maybe it was whatever she was doing with the wolves in the mist that was the problem, and it took a while to catch up to her? I don't know, it was not clear at all.
I will keep watching as long as Eva Green and Chipo Chung continue being really hot, but yeah, that's about it.
Yeah, that's what I thought about there being a price to pay for the magic. But, but, but....then she turns into Ygraine at the end and mumbles something about "I can feel her"??? So there's no price for THAT? And why did she do it in the first place. I think the show's creators think the ambiguity is just a way to keep us interested but it's really annoying me more than anything.
I just found out that the young man who plays Arthur has/had recurring bit parts in both the Twilight and Harry Potter movies. Apparently I was so impressed with him in those roles that I missed them both (& I've seen the Twilight stuff many more times than once). Well, I guess he impressed someone....
