Yeah, like, I get that the King's 3000 years old so just running at him with a stake really, really isn't going to work, but killing Talbot was such a shitty move. I already don't find Eric sympathetic so this is just another thing against him in my book. :P
Hmm, I didn't even think about Godric. Then again I don't think I ever really thought about them as possibly being lovers in the first place. It makes sense, I guess, but in my mind it was more of a familial bond? Similarly, I don't get the impression that Eric and Pam would be fucking even if she were into men. I dunno.
I mean, given Eric's obsession with Sookie and what I know in terms of book spoilers, I doubt we're going to see much more of Eric being bi anyway, but I still approve of the implication.
I still like Sam himself, I just feel like his family drama is less interesting than most of the other stuff going on in the show, and his brother irritates me. I would be much more interested if he were to, say, start making out with Tara again. ;)
