Big Finish Summer Sale

There's still a couple of weeks left of the summer sale and I'm tempted (after hearing Anthony Stewart Head's beautiful voice in the 'Coming Soon' for Excelis Rising to treat myself to all four of the Excelis series.Anyone I know got any thoughts/feelings about that

I had to teach myself to listen to them, but they were definitely worth it :D (and you know... if you ever want to give them a spin just shout, you know people who have stuff to tempt you with.)

My wrist is just plain annoying me *stupid wrist*

I think it was on that - I listened to that and then had to double back and relisten to Project Twilight again so it could be on either... You actually meant the Youtube clip, didn't you?

She is, it was touch and go there for a while - one week she was and the next week she didn't know whether to or Not - but yep - she has her last day at home on Thursday and then flies out Friday. It's much less anxiety-inducing this time partly because we know how it all works now, and partly because of her coming home in August and not October :D

Yes, the YouTube clip. :) Having listened now, I'm oddly wierded out at hearing him sing! It's just going to take some adjustment, like it did when I saw him shirtless on TV. *g*

And if he can sing that well, why hasn't Eight had a musical story? Six did, and his voice isn't that great! (Though it served, and I loved it.)

I loved the first story (with Five) but thought the others were rubbish, if that helps...
When I saw the first one was a Five story I got very excited that they all might be and was kind of disappointed that they weren't-

So, were the rest of them really Rubbish? Or just mneh? I might still risk it if they are just mneh but probably won't if they are Rubbish - despite the lure of ASH's magnificent voice.

I think you are the one who clued me into PMG's Much Ado performance, though I was reminded, when hunting for the clip, that he'd sung in The Monocled Mutineer (which I had totally forgotten).

Am taking it easy on wrist (though I did *have* to woodstain a door yesterday, which didn't help).

I honestly was disappointed with the other Excelis stories. I only listened to 2-4 once and it was mainly ASH yelling a lot. Sorry! And I may be in a minority of one; you may want to canvas other opinion (try persiflage_1 'cause I know she's listened to lots of BF).
