Ooh, on the random pairing generator (the only one I have in my bookmarks, sorry) I got D.I. Patricia Menzies / Hex Schofield / defying gravity. 100% Big Finish characters!

It's hard to believe The Claws of Space isn't actually a serial! (The Robot *is* though, isn't it? Or just 'Robot'?)

::cheers for you for Big Bang::

I am a big fan of Patricia Menzies - especially after The Raincloud Man. Almost off topic: Have you listened to The Blue Forgotten Planet yet?

There's plenty of 'robot' titles, including one simply called Robot (no the) - it's the first Fourth Doctor story.

I really do hope I can come up with the goods this year for Big Bang.

I really liked Menzies too - great character, and her voice itself makes me feel nice. I hope they do more with her! I know the actress would be up for it.

I did finally listen to Blue Forgotten Planet! Last week, after stalling for, oh, six months not wanting to get to the end. :) How about you?

I did the headlong dash - straight into it. I didn't want it to finish BUT I *had* to listen. I think I listened to all three of them over 2 days*!

(And now I need to listen to them again)

*I did notice that there was some crafty writing in there that leaves it open for fill-in adventuring :D

Oh, best of luck and perseverance with that! :)

Yes, that title generator does like its 'The's'...

Thank you!

It does - but it's still much better than me on my own :D

Not faulting it much for that. I cannot come up with titles.

You're not alone - practically everyone I know has the same trouble!

Those titles are awesome, and I'm horribly tempted to copy and paste them to see how many I can write something for. Considering I still owe someone a paid-for story right now, that's not a good plan, but still.

*saves for future reference* ;)

And some of them sound like they should be parts to a series: The Massacre of Day, followed by The Night Universe, and The Suns of Night, should make a fine trilogy.

those titles are great, I may have to check out that generator.

I may not sign up for the bigbang this year, my writing just isn't happening. good luck with yours though!

It's so much fun - it was hard to drag myself away, once I had started clicking.

The word count has been lowered to 20,000 again (*tries not to think about it*).

My writing is very up and down at the moment. I wish it would level out so I could finish something I am happy with, which I could then post...

When they were talking about the 30k limit, it made it easier for me. No way no how, I didn't have a story idea anyway and that kind of padding is something I hate to do in stories and I doubt I could have managed it anyway. With it back to 20k I'm uncertain. I'm leaning towards signing up to have signed up, but it's highly unlikely I'll manage to write for it again.

The Menace Computers? OMG *snorfle* The Brides of Fury made me giggle too, as did the Visitor of Doom.

I've also signed up, but I have no idea if I'll manage anything. We shall see.
