I bet Garcia doesn't have these problems

Nov 16, 2009 09:25

In preparation for posting the prompts lists - and remembering how many hoops I had to jump through last year - I sat down yesterday afternoon to generate a list from the comments in consci_fan_moNow, I love Open Office - really I do. For what I use it for ninety-plus percent of the time it is just fine and dandy. Then November/December comes around and I have ( Read more... )

*not looking at dw spoilers*
*glares* I hate you people. Doctor Who is the only tv show that I really get upset at not seeing when its released in the UK. I guess I was upset a bit at the start with Torchwood before I missed to many to care. :P

And now I get a bit upset at NCIS because we're lucky and get it only a week later this year! So more than a week wait (when no new ep airs in the US) and our channel holds out on us the one the US has seen, then I got a little annoyed.

But back to the point. I think at least two months until New Doctor Who *glares*

*snuggles you*

But there was enough space you could avoid what was under the cut - or would you rather it had been in a separate post you could have avoided it completely?

when no new ep airs in the US) and our channel holds out on us the one the US has seen
That is infuriating - why not let you catch up? The swine!

The way you cut it was fine. I read the stuff outside the post on my f-list. And didn't read the spoilers (or anything) on your journal when I came to comment. :)

Yes. I know. I was wondering why we didn't have any new NCIS then, people said there was Baseball or something on instead. But it wasn't on BOTH weeks. *rolls eyes* They just want bargaining material the channels.

I saw people mentioning Water of Mars almost everywhere today. LJ, Twitter...thankfully not friends with any UK people on Facebook! *goes off to live there for the next few months*

I *just* went into Facebook for something else and found my niece had posted about it - I *always* forget that she's a fan...

I haven't watched "Waters" yet, but then again I still haven't watched the Easter special either. I just... don't care. The commercials make it look like DT's overemoting and that the entire special is full of red shirts. Wheee. What fun.

Sorry Open Office is being mean. *glares at it for you*

Overemoting may well be an understatement.

I've got a handle on it now at least. I just don't need anyone to tell me that what it takes me 3 programs to do only takes a couple of clicks in Word...

*hee* yeah, that's kind of what I assumed

Aah, technology *glares it Open Office for you*

I really enjoyed DW yesterday, but I suspect it might be because I was really in the mood for a new ep. I'll watch it again in a couple of days, and have a less biased view of it (maybe!)

Technology - I wouldn't be without it but- I just need it to be easier sometimes.

Seriously, I liked the beginning and I even liked the "fixed point in time" thing but then why would an ordinary soldier Dalek have that kind of knowledge??

Collectively - there were 4 of us watching - we all flinched when he went all 'I'm the Lord of TIME - time will do what I tell it to.'

And I was pretty glad to hear her give him an ear bashing as a result.

I agree with stackcats I enjoyed it mostly!

It was mostly fun shizz that I didn't take seriously, though some of the writer's probably did mean it.

Yes those few lines he had to utter were flinch worthy indeed. I feel sorry for David that RTD allowed/wrote that in...

Do you know of many stories were the Doctor or a timelord goes totally loopy and loses it and goes on a time rampage? Because I could see that and its scary...

He needs a companion to anchor him, he's going *points to batshit crazy master icon* :(

I only saw teeny bits of WOM by choice. HUbby watched it so it was on in the living room whilst I was plugged into the laptop but it looked very wangsty to me :-P

Reading comments it looks like I haven't missed much. I'll stick to the handful of good Ten eps, the fanfic goodness and the eye candy that the good Mr Tennant has provided. The era ended for me when he mindblanked/raped/delete according to POV Donna.

I was quite liking that he was going to GO and let what should have happened happen. Well maybe happy's the wrong word for it but-. It was working for me.
