It’s confusing and I’m not sure if I’m reading it right. Not sure how you feel about spoilers so I’ll keep cryptic. There’s a fair bit of complexity and detail that I need to wrap my head around to make sense of what it’s trying to say and I’m thinking I won’t unpack until a couple of episodes down.
Actually, two reviews I read after watching helped - one mentioned how half measures are a fuck up, and the other how quoted Lindeloff saying there were no good or bad guys. The latter is appallingly simple but knowing this was an explicit intent was a relief, given I had problems with all sides, including the cops, and was worried about the intent of the showrunners.
