Yeah, that would have been a more interesting post. I do have a problem currently though. Off to Phoenix Monday, and I have to take a parachute in my luggage. Will BA think it odd that I carry a parachute on a commercial flight?

I doubt it, particularly if it's in hold baggage. The guy at the scanner might scratch his head if you try and take a packed and ready to go parachute as hand baggage ;)
