Sort of! Maybe I should. I might put less personal stuff on WordPress and more personal on Dreamwidth and link WP posts here and there. I also natter on fb and Twitter but mostly use FB to stay in touch with local homeschooling and rheumatoid disease groups and some family.
Goodness. And here was I, thinking that shattering my ankle was momentous. On the plus side, I imagine you have more titanium in you than I do, so welcome to the Cyborg life!
Two years ago (as of January 29) a really simple slip-and-fall broke my femur with a twist and because I landed on my ankle, broke that on both sides. Then I got osteoporosis diagnosed and as I was recovering I tripped and landed on my knee and broke my tibial plateau and a couple of bones in my foot. I've broken foot and toe bones repeatedly since. I still happily use my wheelchair and a lot of situations but like that I can walk, and I really want to get back to proper hiking.
SO good to see and read your voice again <3 I am never on here, but updated my settings to get a notification if anyone on my friends list posts. Sending much love and hope to you and your family.
