I have been very sad recently due to Hurricane Katrina and how everything has been handled. I recently sent all my old clothes to the Lupus foundation so I did not have anything to send. Funds are low. So I decided to go without for a week or two and sent money to the Red Cross and the HSUS to help both the people and the animals. I feel ( Read more... )

The walk for the animals went off without a hitch. I raised a good amount of money thanks to those of you that contributed and most of my co-workers. As usual I've never seen so many dogs in one spot and mutual butt sniffing. B was there along with Brian, Brian's parents and Adam. Yesterday we went to a green house in Amery and I got some plants at very good prices. After that B wanted to go geocaching (of course) which sort of ate up the rest of the day. Well I'm doing the walk again this year! I'll be walking at 8AM this Saturday with a bunch of other animal loving people. I can't wait to be doing it again. I am so not thrilled with this new class. It is Marketing.
