I woke up at 7am to get ready to go to surgery; as I had to be at admissions at 8:30 AM. I got there and waited and waited. Then they called me down to have some radioactive dye injected into my breast to see if any cancer is in the lymph nodes. Even with the numbing agent it still hurt like hell. I've got my knitting needles out... found a couple nice patterns too.

What colors would you like? (for a hat of course... *giggle* not the other thing we were discussing earlier)

Bright colors look good on me except yellow and olive green. They make me look too sallow. So take your pick and go to town. :)

I've been better of course. :) I have a drain by my armpit that I have to empty 2x's a day the pain pills don't really kill all of the pain but they do get most of it. If the pathology does not get back today we are looking at Monday most likely. I'll post again when I receive the results. I want to go to a movie with Mitch and Robin tonight but if there is a crowd there I will have to walk behind Mitch.
I also have no feeling in my arm pit and the back of my arm which occasionally will travel down to my finger tips. I called the nurse and she said that this sometimes happens and the nerves will heal up again. So I guess that is how I am. :) Brad will have to wash my hair over the sink today because I refuse to go out with it looking the way it does. :p Anyway I'll let you know later how things are going as they progress. I have a haul ahead and have yet to see how that will go. One step at a time.

Thanks I did and I found it quite interesting. I will have to check out that other movie she mentioned. :)
