Rob Donoghue and Fred Hicks come on the show to talk about an issue they're dealing with while working on the Dresden Files RPG -- working with the shield bracelet and how to mesh mechanical modeling and the feel from the fiction. They get pretty into it about what they're dealing with. Then Ryan talks about Chad Underkoffler's latest project, Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies, and talks about some listener email and his upcoming book.

I really like the new mics I got -- well worth the money. Audio-Technica's ATM410. Still having the line noise problem, but I've narrowed it down to the line-in jack on the PC, and really the only way to fix that is to buy a good sound card.
Spend money on podcasting? Twist my arm.
Anyway, I'm also happy that I'm learning new tricks with how to edit better. (Insert joke of "why didn't you use them?") Next up will be getting some of my standard sounds at the right levels, but that'll take some time of testing and diagnosis to find out what the "right levels" are.
