Trees that big will suck up some serious water. Don’t be surprised if the ground is a bit wetter than usual.

The garden is like a bloomin’ quagmire at the moment - although I suspect that’s more to do with all the rain over the weekend than the hacked down trees. If it hasn’t drained by Christmas though I’ll know we’re in trouble.
