It was such a lovely day out that for once, Winry wasn't content to be inside working on things. She was still reading over the notes she'd made on glassmaking, and trying to figure out substitutes for the stuff they didn't have, which was fun (to Winry, at least), but it was time to get out. So after a stop at the compound clothes box for something to wear (one of those bikini type swimsuits that was pink and sparkly and way too girly for her taste, but it was all there was and it was a million times better than going naked), she headed out to the small waterfall, armed with the swimsuit and an armful of towels.

It was nice out there, warm, but not too hot, and the water was cool but not too cold. Just right, she thought, surfacing from a dive. Quiet and calm and pretty much just the way Winry liked it. She couldn't ask for a better afternoon.
