I'm on the hook for moderating a meta panel on the issue of Immortality in fandom.  My notion was that it has become ubiquitous, reaching well beyond Highlander, and vampires.  Now we have Captain Jack, Owen Harper, and a new program on the horizon (New Amsterdam) featuring a lead character who is immortal
