Doggedly patient? Not me, but I will admit to a slight masochism.

I like the way you pull out minor characters from the series and place them where the Mac and the reader are least likely to encounter them.

"but she settled in to the task wish a sense of sad" is that supposed to be 'with'?

*Thank you* for posting more of this, though in one way I wish I hadn't started to read it as a WIP... You do cliff-hangers like none other! As soon as it is a finished entity, I will be devouring it properly in one sitting!

Good stuff. Very interesting take on who immortals are -- and who Methos is in particular. Looking forward to more.
