I bit the bullet and have permanently switched to Oasis - I don't regret it for a second. Totally worth the money, especially if you can wear them a little longer. I change mine probably every 6 weeks. I have a computer job though so I have saved a ton on drops too, no need for them anymore with these.

What grade is Ian in?

Hey just wanted to apologize for not writing you back yet from your comment you posted. I just haven't been on here like I should but I am trying to do this and Facebook too. Ian will be starting 2nd grade. He was born in October so he was a late starter. Hanna was born in August so she will be an early starter. I'm glad Ian had an extra year of preschool because he really needed it. He starte talking late and had speech for three years. Now he doesn't stop. LOL
I was actually thinking if I could wear the Oasys longer than the acuvue it may save us money. They feel so great! :)

I think our kids are right around the same age. Audrey is 7 and Noelle will turn 5 this July.

I didn't think to ask the dr. but I actually thought of that too. I have only worn glasses a few days here and there for the last 10 yrs and at times I know I wore the lenses way too long.

Maybe you could just do some of each and see what happens? Y'know, wear contacts if you're going someplace out, or if you want to look extra nice, but wear glasses if you're mainly gonna be around the house for a few days?
