I would go by retail price and usage of the items.

retail. just because you're swapping something that has a longer shelf life than most items does not mean you should ask for more than what it's actually worth.

So let's say the swapper had 4 L'Oreal Infallibal eye shadows used twice.
Maybe 2 Urban Decay shadows ( new packaging ) used twice.
Would it be really worth it ???

no, one urban decay shadow is 18. So one urban decay eye shadow would be a fair swap. Arent infallible shadows like 8 or 7 each? If thats the case, then only 3 shadows would be fair. Just because your product can be used many times doesnt mean you can ask for more items. It always goes by retail price of item, doesnt matter if it can be used up in a day or 10 years.
