Have a spooky story

This year's story for spook_me is a Sapphire and Steel creation. I don't know if I achieved scary but I hope that I achieved eerie, at least. If you haven't seen S&S, Sapphire was played by Joanna Lumley, Steel was played by David McCallum, and the fans have never really figured out what it all meant despite thirty years of trying; so don't let ignorance ( Read more... )

Oh, bravo! *applauds* Good Sapphire and Steel is HARD and this has a splendidly spooky beginning and an appropriately making-it-up-as-they-go-along resolution, and a nice twist at the end. *doffs cap to you*

I can speak with a certain amount of authority when I say you need have no worries on the "Mummerset" front ;-)

This is good! You really have that sense of Sapphire and Steel's otherness, and the way they manipulate forces inside/outside time without necessarily being in complete control of the situation. Thank you.

I'm still a touch creeped out by the dude actually inside the bark, and the Sapphire voice on this is just lovely.
