This book was interesting. It's the autobiography of a former Fundamentalist Mormon who grew up in a polygamist community. At 18 she was married off to a 50 year old with 3 other wives and for the next 17 years she was treated like a slave/punching bag/baby maker. She eventually escaped with her 8 children raging in ages from 15 down to 2 after

Sounds like a fscinating book. I'm totally putting it in my 'I Should read but I'm never actually going to' pile, Casue I'm sure that however fascinating it is, it would scare and depress me entirely too much... lol
