Snow...

At last the proper snow has started and, I think, after such one week we will have one - or half meter of snow cover. It is wonderful that my temporal roof is strengthen enough and I am nearly totally not afraid that it will not fall down, so this snow fairy tale could mean only the start of new skiing season and of course the healthy new activity

Made a start on your walls yet?

You talk about the basement walls I suppose, cause it is still minus temperatures at nights and sounds like a craziness to think make the walls outside, now? No, I did still nothing with the basement walls, only has displaced the sand, water, cement and crushed stones into the basement, plus has moved down the limestones which I had got from the well, these are all I done for now for walls. But most tremendous work is nearly done - I have strenrthen the roof with wooden pillars which I will use making concrete second floor after and nearly covered completely all the temporal walls of my first floor with polyethylene film to not have no snow melting on concrete and cooling down the basement. It is now to cover the floor with some free thermal insulation material and I will start making walls in the basement. There are no much meters to make though - two six meters partitions walls and little more for sauna maybe… maybe later…

This is funny, yesterday you posted about how it finally started snowing. And today here? It finally started snowing.

Our weather often seems to be the same despite being far away.

Sounds like good progress you are making. I look forward to seeing it.

I am looking weather very often last years and what surprised me a lot it is that all the weather fronts are moving presumably from Western Europe to Russia and are doing it incredibly fast, so I am not surprised that we have the same pattern... ;)

I don't know could my lonely work be called somehow a progress... but thank you, anyway I am making a lot of discoveries on my way and it makes me very happy. If I will make at next season the walls of first floor and a concrete slab I could make myself two hundreds square warm meters, plus I will make the water supply and a fireplace on the kitchen.
And yes, I will post the photos of my doings very soon.
