Did you guys know that we have a National "DAY" for just about everything?? b/c i didn't.

so on this most auspicious of days: National Tell a Story Day - i encourage my flist to do just that.

Huh, well I'm late but- Once I went over to my biological dad's for a visitation. I didn't see him that much and we went to his mother's. My grandmother was born in Mexico and doesn't speak English so I mostly looked at her and took the cookies she offered. I spent most of the time in front of the tv, which was showing the cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This was awesome because my kid self was a big fan. I go back to my mom's afterward and she asks what I thought of my visit. I told her it was fine but I couldn't understand anything they were saying. When she asked why, I said it was because they were speaking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

The cartoon had been dubbed in Spanish and that's what I thought everyone was speaking.
