Eeeeeeee. This is amazing. I am always excited when I see new fic from you! Kurt is so indignant, I love it, and jump-y to conclusion-y and just wonderfully Kurt. And Puck is very, very sweet in his own way. It seems like in this fic he's matured a bit? Perhaps being with a drama queen like Kurt has forced him to it. :).

And the last line? Beautiful. Just beautiful. Haha.

As always, really well done. ♥

*Beams* Glad you liked it!

Well, Kurt's got a lot of issues that he needs to work out, not all of which relate directly to Puck. He's still getting comfortable in his own skin, and that takes time, especially in high school.

RE: Puck, I think it's more that as he's starting to spend a little more time with Kurt behind closed doors, he's getting used to the idea that maybe what happens there really does stay private, and that means he can relax the attitude and be more of himself. Does that make sense?

Dude, this is fantastic. :D

I mean, anything that's Puck/Kurt is a near automatic FUCK YEAH from me, but this really, really earned it. :)

It just feels really, really right for Kurt to react this way. (The "Don't you dare put words in my mouth. First of all, Quinn isn't going to say a fucking thing, so climb right back down off of that high horse."-part felt a bit too wordy for the Puck in my mind, which was kind of jarring, but otherwise, he was pretty awesome.)

The first six paragraphs are my favourite ever in Glee-dom.

(Also: I like this Quinn! I never like Quinn!)

Thanks ever so much! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this.

Regarding Puck's micro-speech, I think that it's all about the delivery. I agree that it's possibly wordy for him in one sitting, but we've simply got too little canon to really draw too many conclusions, so I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt behind closed doors ^_^ We each have our own character views, however, and you're certainly entitled to see him differently than I do. Thanks for taking the time to let me know about your concerns/differences in character reading!!

(Also: Yay! I love it when someone tells me that I made them like a character they didn't before, or at least made them sympathetic enough to really be human)

:D

Dude, one of my main problems with Glee is that it's all WILL FINN RACHEL (EMMA), and that everyone else kind of suffer as characters because of this. (WHERE IS MY KURT-CENTRIC EPISODE, GODDAM?) And, well, I definitely see what you're saying - this fic actually made me think about it :) - but seeing as Puck is also the dude who said "buenos nachos" and thought women had prostates ... I love him, but man. The guy is dumb, at least in these areas. (Of course, you could write him as a super-smart dude hiding beneath an impossibly thick layer of sheer Puck. ngl, I'd totally read that.)

(Yesss. :D Quinn! More-than-two-sided character! THANK YOU!)

Actually, if spoiler-memory serves (and not really a spoiler, per se), there's a Kurt-centric episode somewhere in this batch of 13, but I could be mistaken...

Again, glad you liked it. As for my read on Puck, or at least this Puck, I think it's as much as he knows there are advantages to being ignored. Depending on what goes on in his home life, there could be very good reasons that he flies under the radar, or even what his experiences were when he was younger. I don't think he's a secret super genius, but I do think there's a lot more going on there than most of the world sees, and one of the reasons he's reluctant to see the thing w/ Kurt fall apart is because behind closed doors, he can be just a little bit more himself. Does that make sense ( ... )

LOL! Thanks ^_^

So, if you love my Kurt/Puck, what do you think about my Quinn/Tina?

I'm referring to the Vegas shenanigans.

However, I'm seriously tempted to do a small set of "asides" about that particular relationship ^_~ And it's not like you can't have background Finn/Rachel in a Quinn/Tina story - in fact, it's kind of hard not to, you know? I will admit, I love background/secondary pairings - in part b/c you get to play around more creatively with their backstories. I love Finchel, but I also really like the other pairing possibilities (it's totally random that there's one M/M and one F/F pairing at the moment, because I love het secondary pairings just as much, lol).

I adore Quinn, in part b/c I think there's so much to explore, there. I have this theory that Quinn and Puck have been friends since forever, and she totally calls him on Wednesday nights in her comfy sweats or ratty jeans and begs him to bring her real cookies b/c her mom won't allow them in the house and she's pathetically hormonal. I also love the potential w/ her for there to be so much more than the face she presents. I want her to be ( ... )

I love Kurt/Puck and you write it very well. I loved the closing line about black mail and how we got to see Quinn's human side.

I have this pet theory that Quinn and Puck have been friends since childhood, and what it means is that she keeps popping up in my Kurt/Puck at odd times, but I think it works.

Of course, now we'll probably get canon that one of them moved to town in grade 8 or something, but I can blithely continue writing up until then ^_~

Thanks for reading!

I was SO happy to see that there was new Puck/Kurt fic before the new episode! This day is the best ever. :)

I agree with snorefest up there, who said that Puck seems more sweet and mature in this. I liked that a lot. I get the sense that they're more comfortable with each other in this fic, which is refreshing as we don't see that dynamic very much.

I could definitely get used to your one-fic-a-week trend! :D

Well, I'm very pleased to have improved your afternoon/evening!

The joy of behind-the-scenes is that it gives them the room to relax, away from the social constraints each feels bound by, at least if they choose to.

LOL! Well, I'll see what I can do to keep it up.
